1. MISSHIPMENT/SHORT SHIPMENT/CLAIMS
A. Notification of errors must be made by phone (1-800-643-3432) within fifteen
(15) calendar days of receipt of shipment.
B. Notification made after fifteen (15) calendar days will be treated as an
Overstock Return Request.
2. COURSE CANCELLATIONS
A. Written permission required on all return requests.
B. Requests must be made on-line (www.budgetext.com) or by phone
(1-800-643-3432) within thirty (30) calendar days from 1st day of
class.
C. Requests made after thirty (30) calendar days will be treated as an
Overstock Return Request.
3. OVERSTOCK
A. Written permission required.
B. Please use our new On-Line Returns System on www.budgetext.com.
C. BUDGETexT now allows 20% returns per term.
D. Requests must be received within sixty (60) calendar days of the beginning
of the term for which the books were purchased.
E. Interim courses must be submitted against a main term.
F. Returns are granted on invoices with a balance due of no more than sixty
(60) calendar days from the start of classes.
4. SHIPPING RETURNS
A. Books must be shipped in same condition as sold.
B. Returns must be shipped using a BUDGETexT Return Authorization Label.
C. BUDGETexT must receive the return by the return authorization expiration
date.
D. Returns must be shipped prepaid.
E. Claims for credit where we have no record of receipt in our warehouse will
not be considered without proof of delivery.
F. Shipments damaged in transit are the responsibility of the carrier (claims
for damage must be made with the carrier at the time of receipt).
5. CREDITS
A. Credits are not transferable.
B. Credits are void and of no value after eighteen (18) months.
C. Cash refunds will not be granted.
6. REASONS FOR NO AUTHORIZATION/CREDIT
A. Request made later than sixty (60) calendar days after beginning of term.
B. Books purchased at greater than normal discounts.
C. Books received without corresponding return authorization or after
expiration date.
D. Books returned without authorization will be credited at current buying
guide price, or where there is no wholesale value, returned at the customer's
expense.
E. Books received damaged.
F. Stores engaged in wholesale activities or affiliated with a competitor.
